Happy 2022! We hope that you had a wonderful holiday season enjoying time with the people you love. The start of a new year is the perfect time to reflect on the past and think about what you would like to accomplish during the next year. At Parker and Pennington Dentistry, we want patients to reflect on the state of their oral health. Think about the last time you visited our office for a cleaning. Did we recommend a treatment that you’ve postponed? Maybe you are just unhappy with your smile and would love a change. The new year is the best time to make your oral health dreams become reality.
Schedule a Visit
If while reflecting on this past year you realized you have not visited our office in some time, we suggest scheduling an appointment as soon as possible. Routine hygiene examinations should be every six months, unless you have a condition such as gum disease that requires you to visit us more frequently. Delaying routine hygiene appointments and recommended treatments open you up to a number of problems. During your examination, we inspect the teeth for signs of decay, gum disease, and oral cancer. When considerable time passes between treatments, the possibility of a problem starting and growing increases. Scheduling routine appointments allows us to be proactive with your oral health instead of reactive when an emergency arises.
Don’t Let Nerves Get in the Way
Have you been delaying visiting our office because you fear the dentist and dental procedures? We have created a comfortable and welcoming environment for our patients, and we want everyone to be open and honest with us about their feelings. We are happy to answer any questions you have about the treatments we provide and the technology we use in our office. Our state-of-the-art technology provides a variety of treatment benefits, such as shorter treatment times and a more comfortable experience.
If it has been a while since your last dentist appointment, we encourage you to schedule your routine hygiene examination and cleaning today. We want to help you get your oral health back on track. We look forward to seeing you soon at our office located in Jacksonville Beach, FL.
